Lovancy Ingram began playing the violin at age three and ever since then, she has enjoyed sharing her love of music with others. Originally a student of classical violin who studied with Quincy Meeks, Gloria Stearns-Bruner, and Phyllis Fleming, Lovancy has also branched out into contemporary improvisation.

Ms. Ingram has performed with a number of groups including the Shrine of the Sacred Heart Music Ministry, The Pan-American Symphony Orchestra, Spirit Jazz and Improv Ensemble, and the DC Concert Orchestra. She has also served as assistant concertmaster with the University-Shenandoah Symphony Orchestra. During her musical career, Lovancy has taught children and adults.
